Broncos Brave Heat to Buy Books

FAYETTEVILLE — The weekend heat didn't keep Fayetteville State students from standing inline to buy books. FSU students checked their schedules and startedloading up.

Book store workers say the weekend before classes begin is, by far, thebusiest time of the year. It's just part of getting ready for anotherschool year. Despite the wait for books, students told WRAL they areanxious to get back to class.

Many people were worried that the UPS strike would keep them from gettingtheir books in time for the first day of classes this Wednesday. Butright now the shelves are pretty well stocked.
