Michael Arthur Trott, 22, faces seven counts of takingindecent liberties with minors.
Law officers in Cary, Durham and Wake County were seeking a suspectdescribed as a young while male who drove a white van.
One of the girls Trott allegedly fondled spotted him as he drove a vanmatching that description in Wake County last week. The child and hermother jotted down the license plate, which led detectives to a wholesaledistributor in Charlotte, where Trott was a driver whose route includedstops in the Triangle on Tuesdays. All the assaults occurred on Tuesdays.
Trott has been held in Wake County jail in lieu of $700,000 cash bail.
