— Wake County's district attorney has charged two people in connection with the death of an infant last month. The operator of the illegal center has been charged along with a child who was being cared for there.

Infant Bailey Tippett, 4-months-old, died last month when Tracey Stidham left him in the care of her 12-year-old daughter while Stidham ran some errands. Police say one of the children at the day care intentionallykilled the baby.

Stidham is charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter. A charge of voluntary manslaughter was placed against an un-named juvenile who was inside the center, which was located in Stidham's home, at the time.

Because of laws that protect the rights of juveniles, police cannot disclose other details about the crime or the child.

Prosecutor Cindy Baddour told WRAL-TV5'sMark Robertssays the infant suffered injuries which caused his death.

The charge against Stidham is a felony which carries a possible wide range of charges. The court will determine what will happen to the charged juvenile.
