Bargain Hunters Score Big at Drug Auction

— Going once, going twice, SOLD! Some lucky bargain hunters drove home a new set of wheels Saturday. And for most, the price was right.

People came from all over the state to take advantage of the great deals at the Jim Graham building. The North Carolina Department of Revenue auctioned off cars, trucks, clothes, artwork and furniture. All of the merchandise was seized from drug raids.

Shirley ... bought a five piece bedroom set for $1,000. She says she goes to auctions like these four or five times a year. By the showing at the fairgrounds, she isn't the only one.
