FAYETTEVILLE — A memorial for a Fayetteville teen is back where it belongs. Today familyand friends of 16-year-old Chris Eggleston replaced the cross and flowersalong the road near where he was killed.
Several weeks ago someone stole the cross from the memorial site. Eggleston disappeared after taking a final exam last month. Searchersfound his body in a wooded area. He had been tied up and strangled.Police charged fellow student Matthew Myers with his murder.
