LOCUST — A bizarre accident in Stanly County has a community looking for answers.
The Locust area softball team held a car wash Saturday to raise money for the state tournament.
While it was under way, a Blazer jumped a curb and ran into a crowd of people.
Forty-nine-year-old Norma Allen was hit and killed while waiting for her car to be washed. And 12-year-old Jennifer Mullis died on the way to the hospital.
State troopers don't know yet what caused the teenage driver to lose control.
No charges have been filed.
