RALEIGH — If you have season tickets to NC State football games, it's going to cost you to keep your seats -- maybe $3,000 more. The University calls it a donation.
Right now, season ticket holders pay $100 each year to keep their seats.
The school plans to use the money to renovate Carter-Finley Stadium, and to reward people who have been contributing to the university's fundraising campaign. Donation levels under the new scheme range from $3,000 to $1 million for some seats.
If season-ticket holders don't contribute accordingly they could wind up with end zone seats.
