OXFORD — Granville County school officials are getting tough on kids who continuallyfight. The school board is considering enacting a "two-strikes and you'reout" policy this fall.
Kindergarten through 6th graders caught fighting would face mandatory suspensionafter the second offense. Principals are concerned about how to fairlyenforce a fighting rule.
The proposal will get a second hearing in August.
