RALEIGH — Many people donate blood on aregular basis knowing they can help save lives by doing so. Fewer areaware that they can help save even more by registering as a marrow donor
WRAL-TV5's Health Team will be at the Jim Graham building at the statefairgrounds Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for "Marrowthon 97"where a simple blood test will put you on a donor list. Sponsors arelooking for donors between the ages of 18 and 60 who are in good health.
If you live in Cary or Durham, go to the American Red Cross facility, to register, and in Chapel Hill the site is University Mall. Marrowthon
