Thousands waved their hands in the air and partied under the sun Saturdayin Raleigh. They rocked to the sounds of national recording artists atCarter Finley Stadium for today's 10th annual "FamFest."
Event organizers expect more than 80,000 people to attend the event before the day is over.
Recording artist, Tracy Lee, says North Carolina is always a great placeto perform. He doesn't want to just single out Raleigh. It's nodifferent from Greensboro or Charlotte. They all show him love each timehe performs.
It's hot, indeed! Some fans donned umbrellas to protect themselves fromthe sun. Radio station K-97.5 sponsors "FamFest" each year.
