Search Under Way for Cumberland County Teen

— An all-out search is on for a 16-year-old Cumberland County boy. Westover High School student Chris Eggleston's family reported him missing on Monday.

Sheriff's deputies are questioning the boys friends and schoolmates and have searched the school and its grounds, but say they have very few leads in his disappearance.

Wayne and Angie Eggleston, Chris' parents, are very concerned. They say the teen was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. They have gathered friends and family members to help them search for Chris. Wayne Eggleston says they are all distributing flyers about Chris' disappearance to area businesses.

The Egglestons say they don't know what more they can do. Their son was supposed to walk home from school Monday, but never arrived. Angie Eggleston says she and her husband are trying to find strength in each other.

The family is trying to target areas where they think Chris might be as they continue their search. They say they don't know of any reason why Chris would have run away.
