Bike Rodeo Rounding Up Safe Kids

RALEIGH — Dozens of kids spent their Saturday learning the rules of the road. Itwas the Kiwanis' first bicycle safety rodeo. Kids of all ages cameout to Leesville High School for a day filled with learning activitiesabout staying safe and having fun while hitting the road.

One parent brought her youngest out to get an early start at safety. Shestarted her child on a Big Wheels with a helmet, so the child will growup knowing always to use one.

The Raleigh Police Department was also on hand for free bicycleregistration.
