RALEIGH — The man police say fired the bullet thatstruck 4-year-old Jermaine Huggins in February is now behind bars.
David Ashley was arrested Thursday morning in Wilmington for cocainepossession. He was later transferred to the Wake County jail in Raleigh ona charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
Police have been looking for Ashley for three months. Huggins' familyreceived assistance from area churches and citizens in moving to a newneighborhood.
