Man Shot by Gunmen Demanding Mondy

— Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that happened at about midnight Sunday night on New Bern Avenue. Three armed suspects reportedly converged on the parking lot of a mini-mall.

Craig Ruffin, 23, said he was using a pay telephone when the three men approached him demanding money. He was shot as he tried to run away.

Ruffin is in stable condition. No suspects have been arrested.
