DURHAM — The city water system in Durham will undergo aform of "spring cleaning" for the next few days, and it might alter watercolor.
City officials plan to flush the system from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. startingSunday night and continuing until May 8.
Residents may notice that their tap water is brownish in color duringthose hours. And there might also be a decrease in water pressure duringthe flushing operation.
