Free Shots for Kids

— Free immunizations will be offered for children by Wake County Human Services during National Infant Immunization Week, April 20 - 26.

The shots will be offered Sunday, April 20 from 2 - 6 p.m. at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre. The event will be sponsored by Kidworks.

Immunization schedules call for children to be vaccinated at birth, 2, 4, 5, 12 and 15 months of age. They are protected against hepatitis B, diphtheria, lockjaw, whooping cough, Hib disease, polio, red measles, mumps, German measles and chicken pox.
