WILMINGTON — The Malcolm Wright double murder trial is on hold until Monday. Opening statements in the trial began Thursday.
Wright is the former Fort Bragg soldier charged in connection with the deaths of two black Fayetteville residents in 1995. Thursday, former troopmate Randy Meadows told jurors Wright was a skinhead racist who had ridiculed Jews, blacks and gays.
Meadows will return to the witness stand Monday.
