CHAPEL HILL — Chapel Hill streets are a little saferafter a major weapons bust. Police confiscated a loaded nine-millimeterM-11 machine gun from a couple in a public housing complex Thursday night.
They also took an SKS assault rifle from a car at a different apartmentcomplex.
Arrests were made in both cases. Police say the two incidents were notrelated.
