Northampton County Accident Kills Two

JACKSON — A minister and a 5-year-old child were killed in an accident Monday night in Northampton County.

Troopers say a woman driving a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center line. The pickup hit a car head on, killing the minister who was driving the car and the pickup driver's son.

Rev. Lawrence Edwards had just finished conducting a funeral service at the time.
