RALEIGH — Some disappointing test scores achieved byminority students are prompting action in North Carolina. A day-longsummit is scheduled for March to address the problem.
Scores show only 36 percent of minority students scored at or abovegrade level in grades 3 - 8. That compares to 70 percent of whitestudents.
