FAYETTEVILLE — Fayetteville's investigation of its police department and city manager's office is on hold.
The NAACP had called for an outside investigation after three black police officers said they were punished for complaining about racism.
The city had asked a Georgia judge to lead the effort. Now, the judge says he won't because the city is only budgeting $10,000 for the investigation.
