CLAYTON — A Harnett County pastor no longer faceschargesof child abuse. Reverend Bob McArthur was convicted of beating twochildren in his congregation at the House of Prayer in Clayton.
Now a jury has overturned that conviction saying the abuse evidencepointed more toward the children's mother.
Accessory abuse charges were also dropped against the children'sfather.
