— A Northern Durham High School teacher is on leave following accusations of sexual harassment. David Turner, who has taught for 24 years, allegedly harassed a female student verbally and physically.

Turner has no prior record of complaints. He is on paid leave until an investigation is completed.

Meanwhile, a former high school basketball coach from High Point is free on bond after being charged with cocaine trafficking.

Robert Clemons Jr. was arrested Tuesday night after police found two kilograms of cocaine in a house Clemons was using.

It's the largest cocaine bust in High Point's history.

The 11-year teaching veteran resigned from his post last week citing personal reasons.
