FAYETTEVILLE — Police say they have arrested one of thetwo men who held up a convenience store with butcher knives, but theycould have had no luck locating the other.
Andrew Mullins, 16, was arrested and charged with several armedrobberies in Fayetteville and Spring Lake. His alleged partner,18-year-old Russell Howard, remains at large.
The so-called butcher knife bandits are considered suspects in as manyas a dozen robberies in Cumberland County.
