WARSAW, NC — Fire inspectors in Warsaw say theydidn't know there were about 100 people living in a house that wasdestroyed Sunday by the actions of an arsonist. Three people died in thefire.
Investigators say if they had known the building was occupied, it wouldhave been inspected more frequently. It was last inspected three years agowhen it was only known to be used as a business.
The occupants all lived on the top floor of the building.
Three men are charged with setting the fire.
