WENDELL — A spate of burglaries has residents uneasyin eastern Wake County. There have been 38 burglaries in just over amonths.
Most of the break-ins happened between Highways 70 and 401 and recordsshow robberies are up 85 percent from a year ago in that area.
Wake County Deputies have made several arrests and recovered somemerchandise, but the department set up a hotline for people to call inwith information.
Captain Charles Young of the Wake County Sheriff's department saysthere aren't many leads.
