RALEIGH — There is still no official word regarding possible circumstances surrounding the death of a Raleigh woman whose body was discovered last week in a warehouse.
Police say Deborah Jean Elliott's body suffered some sort of trauma, but have little else to say.
Elliott, 35, is the sixth African-American woman to be killed this year in or near downtown Raleigh under suspicious circumstances. Elliott lived at 221 S. Bloodworth St. and worked at the McDonald's on Lake Boone Trail.
