ROCKY MOUNT — One of the drivers involved in this weekend's deadly drag-race in Nash County may now face charges. Benjamin Bacon could be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of prearranged racing.
Two people were killed and six injured Friday night when one of two cars involved in the illegal race ran off the road, crashing into a group of on-lookers and three parked cars.
Authorities say Bacon was behind the wheel of the out-of-control car. Two people remain in critical condition.
