RALEIGH — Despite the rain and cool weather over theweekend, the Triangle AIDS Interfaith Network weathered the great outdoorsand raised some big money for their cause.
Over 2,200 people turned out in downtown Raleigh for the second annualAIDS Walk. All together, they raised $70,000 even before all the pledgesand donations were counted.
The organization hopes to reach its goal of $100,000 for AIDS serviceagencies.
