Man Faces Another Rape Charge

FAYETTEVILLE — After turning himself in to police inNovember, Charles G. Willenbring was charged with two rapes. Saturdayhe was charged with another.

In addition, Willenbring was charged yesterday with first-degreeburglary and first-degree kidnapping. Law officers say he broke into aCumberland County woman's home in July, 1987 and raped her.

Previously, Willenbring, 33, had been charged by Fayetteville police with two counts of first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree burglaryand three counts of first-degree sex offense.

In November, magistrate's records indicated that Willenbring isa suspect in three rapes in Virginia.

Officers said the break-ins occurred while the womenwere asleep.

Willenbring's bond has been set at $1.1 million.
