RALEIGH — A Raleigh Christmas tradition continuedMonday night with the lighting of the WRAL-TV5 broadcast tower on WesternBoulevard.
Just before 6:30 p.m., the 300-plus-foot tower came alive withcolor as thousands of bulbs were illuminated, making it a visual landmarkduring the holiday season.
The lighting ceremony started at 5 p.m. with the North Stars, achildren's chorus from Northwoods Elementary in Cary. Newsanchor Pam Saulsby and Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel hosted the lightingceremony.
