Boychuk Pleads Not Guilty

RALEIGH — A Cary man says he's not to blame for theNew Years Eve death of his wife. William Boychuk pleaded not guilty Mondayto the murder of Karen Boychuk.

She was found dead under a bridge less than a mile from their home onJanuary 1, 1996.

Prosecutors contend Boychuk pushed his wife, who was pregnant at thetime, of the Cary Parkway bridge. Boychuk told police a hit-and-run driverstruck both of them, knocking his wife off the bridge.

A tentative court date of February 10, 1997 has been set for Boychuk.
