RALEIGH — A Cary man says he's not to blame for the New Years Eve death of his wife. William Boychuk pleaded not guilty Monday to the murder of Karen Boychuk.
She was found dead under a bridge less than a mile from their home on January 1, 1996.
Prosecutors contend Boychuk pushed his wife, who was pregnant at the time, of the Cary Parkway bridge. Boychuk told police a hit-and-run driver struck both of them, knocking his wife off the bridge.
A tentative court date of February 10, 1997 has been set for Boychuk.
