RALEIGH — The 15-year-old Broughton High School student who was critically injured when struck by a car September 25 has been released from Wake Medical Center.
Frank Nicholson was walking to school with his sister and a friend when a car driven by William Rice drove onto the sidewalk and struck them, leaving Nicholson with severe head and internal injuries. He has been hospitalized ever since.
