RALEIGH — At dawn the temperature was 51 degrees. The dewpoint was also 51 degrees, which creates a relative humidity of 100 percent. That, in turn, creates dense, lingering fog and that's what Triangle drivers had to contend with Wednesday morning as they left home for the early commute.
The sun finally made an appearance later in the morning and cleared things up.
