RALEIGH — Many people still don't have water, and eventhose who do may be wondering if it's safe to drink.
If you live in Johnston or Harnett Counties, officials advise that youboil your water for three-to-five minutes before using it.
In Orange County, boiling alerts have been lifted in Chapel Hill,Carrboro and Hillsborough. Officials say water in those towns is now safeto drink.
According to authorities, the water is also safe in Raleigh, Cary,Durham and Knightdale, but people everywhere are being asked tovoluntarily conserve water.
