Federal Bailout Of Industry Gives Midway Airlines Hope

There is a chance, albeit it a slim chance, that the government's $15 billion bailout plan of the airline industry could revive the bankrupt company.

Midway president Robert Ferguson says he will try to obtain some of the funding, but there is no guarantee Midway will be awarded any money.

The funding might help Midway get back in the air, but one analyst says the funding is not intended for companies that had problems before the attacks in Washington and New York.
