Fayetteville Halfway House Damaged By Fire

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Some people fighting drugs and alcohol now have another hurdle to overcome.

A halfway house on Gillespie Street in Fayetteville caught fire.

Firefighters believe someone patching the roof left a torch on by accident.

Eleven men lived at the halfway house. The Red Cross is trying to help them until the damage is repaired.
