CARY, N.C. — A major power outage was reported in Cary early Wednesday evening.
According to a Progress Energy spokesperson, a feeder in the area near the intersection of Cary Parkway and High House Road went out around 8 p.m., leaving around 1,800 customers without power.
Progress Energy crews were at the scene of the problem late Wednesday, and power was restored around 9:30 p.m.
