Public Hearings Held To Discuss Wake Budget

RALEIGH, N.C. — The public on Monday was invited to tell leaders what they think about the proposed county budget.

A 3-cent property tax increase is one item expected to be under discussion.

The first public hearing was scheduled for 2 p.m. Then, commissioners were expected to hear comments again at 7 p.m.

Both hearings will be at the Commons building, located at 4011 Carya Drive, in Raleigh.
