<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A Cumberland County teenager has been charged with bringing a gun onto a school campus during graduation practice.

Andre Marcellus McClain, 17, is charged with felony possession of a weapon on school grounds. A janitor notified officials at Westover High School Thursday afternoon after finding a book bag in the school's cafeteria. Authorities say a handgun was inside the bag.

Detectives arrested McClain on the school campus.

McClain was taken to the Cumberland County Jail. He has been released on $1,000 bond.
