FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville restaurant is closed for business because of sanitation problems.
Sushi Court in the Westwood Shopping Center scored a 69.5 during its last inspection. Some of the most serious issues involved how shrimp, crab and fish were stored and prepared.
Other problems include: Handwashing sinks were used for food preparation. There was not any soap for washing hands. "Hot" water was not hot enough to properly clean or sanitize.
The restaurant must now go through the entire permitting process before it can re-open.
