Fayetteville Restaurant Closed Due To Sanitation Problems

— A Fayetteville restaurant is closed for business because of sanitation problems.

Sushi Court in the Westwood Shopping Center scored a 69.5 during its last inspection. Some of the most serious issues involved how shrimp, crab and fish were stored and prepared.

Other problems include:

  • Handwashing sinks were used for food preparation.
  • There was not any soap for washing hands.
  • "Hot" water was not hot enough to properly clean or sanitize.
  • The restaurant must now go through the entire permitting process before it can re-open.
