RALEIGH, N.C. — A man convicted of strangling a Wake County elementary school teacher will not get a new trial.
The state Court of Appeals upheld a murder conviction for Ian Campbell.
Campbell is serving a life sentence for murdering Heather Domenie nearly three years ago.
In his appeal, Campbell's attorneys claimed he did not receive adequate defense during the trial.
