Long Lines Hit Chick-fil-A For Free Breakfast Giveaway

Posted Updated

GARNER, N.C. — The lines were long at local Chick-fil-A's Thursday morning.

The area restaurants are giving away free breakfast sandwiches for six Thursdays to promote their breakfast menu.

Thursday, area law enforcement officers were also part of the hype.

At a store in Garner, State Bureau of Investigation and Alcohol Law Enforcement agents were on the roof of the store and they'll stay there for three days.

They are taking donations to benefit The North Carolina Special Olympics.
