Raleigh Makes Changes To Entertainment Ordinance

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh is cracking down on troubled nightclubs. Problems at the Supper Clubb on Spring Forest Road prompted leaders to make changes to the entertainment ordinance.

On Tuesday, City Council members approved new rules that would hold clubs accountable for problems in their parking lots. On the fourth violation, either inside the club or out, a business could have its license suspended.

The new rules take effect in 30 days.
