In January, fire damaged the Innesbrook Apartments off Fayetteville Road in Durham.

An arson dog with the state Bureau of Investigation was brought in to determine if the fire was intentionally set.

New reports from the state crime lab show a trace of gasoline was found on one of four samples tested. However, Fire Marshal Lennis Harris told WRAL that does not necessarily point to arson.

Harris said investigators are looking at other evidence to determine the cause.
