LendingTree plans to add mapping and zooming interfaces to the RealEstate.com. The goal is help people search for homes in neighborhoods where they want to live.
"We believe this type of mapping is an extremely valuable tool for our customers to use during their home buying or selling process," said Kimberly Gorsuch-Bradbury, RealEstate.com's senior vice president and general manager for real estate networks. "We studied the patent thoroughly and decided that for our business, it made sense to acquire a license."
