WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — The Wake County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of an inmate.
Cheryl Bunch, 47, died in the Wake County Jail Wednesday night. Guards said she complained of feeling hot, then said she had no feeling in her legs.
By the time emergency personnel arrived, Bunch was dead. Medical examiners are now performing an autopsy.
