The Warrens are charged with misdemeanor child abuse and storing a firearm in a manner accessible to children. Their trial date has been set for Sept. 6 in Johnston County.
If convicted on both charges, they could face up to 120 days in jail, probation, and a fine.
Their children died in a double-murder, suicide.
Police said that 14-year-old Brandon Warren shot his half-sister Marnie, 19, and his brother, Bradley, 13, and then turned the gun on himself.
