Fayetteville Vaccinations May Be Ineffective

Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville doctor wants some children who may have gotten bad immunizations to make another visit to the doctor.

When state inspectors visited the Owen Drive Children's Clinic, they found the refrigerator that stored the vaccines did not keep the correct temperature.

Dr. Mohammad Nasiri says the vaccines were given to about 70 children under the age of 2 between January and August of last year. He has sent out letters, but only 20 children have been revaccinated.

If you want to know whether your child received one of the shots, you can call 910-485-0900.
