GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A former hospital employee charged with having sex with a patient is due in court Monday
Gary Best, 39, worked at Cherry Hospital for 13 years. He resigned one week ago. According to police reports, that was the same day the alleged sex offense took place.
Best does not have a criminal record in Wayne County. He's out of jail on $15,000 bond.
